Dear WNYC,

I’m a member of WNYC and listen and hear your ads for the Kresge Challenge for the WNYC Capital Campaign every day. However, I’d like to let you know that even though I’ve heard this ad about 30 times, I really have no idea what the “challenge” is. Are all listeners being challenged to donate 2.5 million collectively, so that the Kresge Foundation will match? If so, is there a date by which the money needs to be donated? You know, like the dollar for dollar match periods? Or is there something more sinister involved in the challenge? Should we pledge to only eat anything grown within 200 miles of us as we pick up the phone to pledge money? Are we being challenged just to try to understand what the challenge is?

I’d really like to know! Especially when you know, I might leave 2.5 million on the table.

my health insurance plan for 2008 includes preventative care - so things like an annual checkup are free. so. i went to my doctor today for said checkup. the administrator asked for $40 for the copay. i was taken aback, expecting that it was supposed to be free. she replied, “oh. sometimes it’s not clear. ok.”

and that was it. i got my free checkup, only by second guessing the charge.

i am a little tired of it. i mean, i like the color green. alot. about every piece of clothing that i have recently purchased (except for pants) is a shade of green. it’s cause green looks so good on me! i am so awesome.

ok. maybe not.

so i have no idea what i’m going to write, but it won’t have the word green so prominently featured all the time. maybe env<3, lol.

right. moving on. i wish that were a problem. but i’ve got a million pointers to this domain if anyone cared. anon’s way more fun!

this template feels familiar, like urlgreyhot or somebody’s from 5 years ago. all the css ids are in some other language though (but one of the cool languages) , so maybe they mean sense to someone. but not me. at some point i’ll change it. but the green appeals to me. i’ll be wearing it soon.

oh yeah i lost my snarkiness. i am just now straight up boring. i’m just going to say boring things. see. boring.
